Liftmaster has announced the addtion to their product line of the Elite Series 8500 garage door opener. This new unit will be replacing the soon to be discontinued 3800 Series RJO opener. The new 8500 series opener will be fully MyQ functional. Adding a Liftmaster 828LM internet gateway to the 8500 allows the garage door opener to be open, closed, or just checked by your cell phone from anywhere in the world you have cell coverage.
